ESE Entertainment Inc., a professional esports organization, has enlarged its footprint in Europe by securing a team slot in the Ultraliga tournament. Ultraliga is a professional esports competition where players compete in the fight for the title, cash prize pool, and a promotion to the next stage of European competition. The tournament is in official cooperation with the game publisher – Riot Games, and is broadcast on Polish National TV and the internet in collaboration with media conglomerate Polsat. In 2019, Ultraliga had over 24 million viewers tune into its esports channel.

2020 has started with ESE partnering with the second oldest esports organisation in Europe – K1CK Esports Club. K1CK started in the late 1990’s, bringing professionalism to a new industry and setting an example for the Portuguese gaming community. K1CK Esports Club is an officially licensed organization and has succeeded in many esports games such as CS:GO, APEX, FIFA, LOL and many others. By expanding their activity in Europe, K1CK brings its awarding winning organization into Poland.

ESE Entertainment Inc. was able to secure 1 of 8 licenses in Europe in order for K1CK Esports to take part in the biggest League of Legends league in Poland – Ultraliga. ESE’s strong network of esports contacts and development teams enabled K1CK to quickly assemble a very strong professional team, which will strive to win the championship.

K1CK will be the team representing ESE Entertainment in Ultraliga, and consists of players who have won prior editions and have long-standing experience in the European League of Legends field.

The owner of K1CK Esports Club, Pedro Fernandes said: “It is a huge step forward to the realisation of our expansion in the European Union. We will have another well-prepared team, playing in a professional league, with the support of a strong business partner in ESE”.
